omni-channel shopperIn this article provided by Retailing Today, the fourth quarter 2015 Mobile Wallet Report from Nielsen finds that 72% of smartphone shoppers research an item before purchasing it. Thirty-seven percent of mobile users say their purchases start with mobile shopping. What’s important to them when researching products? Sixty-two percent say product pictures and 44% say product descriptions.

High quality, optimized data and content for every single SKU is the answer for manufacturers. This isn’t a trend folks – it’s a reality. And, when it comes to search engine organic rankings – whoever is first usually wins!
